Latest Projects
Project 1: Stock Analysis Dashboard
This project was created in my Computer Applications in Finance course at Cal Poly. What it does is analyze a selected stock from S&P 500 companies and index the returns of that stock of how it performed against the market. In the drop down boxes of the excel sheet the user can select from 3 different markets (S&P 500, NASDAQ, & Russell 3000).
Project 2: Shark Tank Business Start Up Calculator
As part of my Upper division electives, my Computer Applications in Finance course assigned us to code and create a Start up calculator for entrepreneurs with little financial knowledge.
Project 3: HampeRing
In my IT 371 class we were given an assignment to create an idea for an inefficiency fix. My team came up with a solution called the HampeRing, in which the entire hamper would be washable & dry-able with all of the clothes inside. Overall, we placed 2nd of 8 teams. Please see the PDF final version of our write report. In this project I covered all of the graphs as well as the financials for starting the business.
Project 4: Stock Valuation
In my Portfolio Management class teams were assigned to pick a stock and value it by a few different investment banking methods. My team chose the company Callaway Golf to value using a discounted cash flow analysis and comparable companies metrics.
Project 5: Mortgage Backed Security Valuation
In my Real Estate Investment class at Cal Poly, we were tasked with finding the option adjusted spread on top of a Freddie Mac mortgage backed security of choice. From Freddie Mac's website, we selected Series 4552 and found there to be no OAS premium value in this MBS.
